| AMERICAN FUZZY LOP |
History of the American Fuzzy Lop The American Fuzzy Lop originated from the Holland Lop. The fur quality on imported Holland Lops was poor, and some breeders on the west coast tried to improve the fur quality of their Hollands by crossing Angoras into their lines. These improved "purebred" Hollands were then purchased by breeders on theeast coast. The east coast breeders then started finding an occasional Angoracoated Holland Lop in their litters. These Angora coated rabbits were then bred together, thus creating the American Fuzzy Lop. American Fuzzy Lops were first presented to ARBA in 1985 and were recognized by the ARBA as a breed in 1988. |

About Our Fuzzies Our fuzzies are my pride and joy. Not only do they have wonderful personalities, they are consistent show winners. I purchased my first fuzzies in 1990, and since then I have won 1 Best In Show, as well as regularly winning BOB's and BOS's. All of my fuzzies are registered Grand Champions with multi-champion pedigrees. If they don't "grand", they aren't used in my breeding program. I have produced 40+ champions to date. I raise all colors, not just your basic torts. Take a look at some of my Fuzzy Lops on my picture page, and don't forget to visit my for sale page. |
